Ok – New Year’s Resolution (besides that whole — I’m going to diet & go to the gym every day mentality. How about do what makes me HAPPY. Every day is filled with stresses, schedules, and responsibilities, so why not add some happy flavor! Yes, I created this phrase to never forget that I must do something every day that makes me happy! I made a promise to myself that this year I am going to find songs that make me happy — you know the ones that automatically bring a smile to your face (or the ones that instantly give you that “Wow I want to dance on a table” feeling — just not in the office.) Twitter’s 1st streaming concert played by TIESTO
I always love finding out that some of my favorite DJs are trying new things in the digital space. Tiesto – while at the forefront of his career and his genre, is also helping pioneer the social sphere this year at the CES conference in Vegas. This coming Wednesday January 11th at 10pm PT – Tiesto will play a live 90 minute set that HP/Intel will stream LIVE on Twitter. This is the first “concert” of its type on Twitter and will not only be looped for over 48 hours, but will also allow users to interact and engage with each other during the live stream. I think this is a unique opportunity for HP/Intel to test out Twitter’s new brand pages and for Tiesto to enlarge his social influence and music sharing capabilities online.

A Warm Winter’s Night
I’m going to be honest, I was never a HUGE Christmas music fan — I know shame on me. But recently, I’ve been getting back into it. All the covers and re-makes of these traditional Christmas songs make them seem newer and to me, definitely more enjoyable.
It’s that time of year again — yeah you know when you use the cold as an excuse to cuddle, you get to wrap (and unwrap) all those gifts, decorate for hours on end to make your house resemble some part of a winter wonderland, (don’t forget overeating), but most importantly to me, it’s when you spend time with the ones you love. This year I hope you are as lucky as I am to spend time with the people who matter most to you…to not only show how much you care for one another, but also to relax, eat well, laugh whole heartedly, remember those who couldn’t be with you and hopefully to listen to some holiday tunes Happy Holidays!
